How it all started...
In 2014, Pastor Brian was working at juvenile detention center when the Lord clearly spoke to him and said, "I've called you to be a light in dark places." It was in that moment God birthed the idea of Illuminate.
It wasn't until 6 years later did Pastor Brian and Erin receive their call to start a new church in South Carolina. In the midst of Covid, they began to recruit and develop a team.
Then finally on January 8th, 2021 Illuminate had it's first offical worship service at Joseph Pye Elementary in Ladson, SC!

Expanding the vision...
Since our first service, we have seen 10 salvations, 23 baptisms, served our shcool by building reading hammocks, sponsored All Pro Dad, held unity prayer services, and have seen 2 people accept a calling to ministry. And we're just getting started!
Where we are headed...
It is our goal to be a multi-campus church. We are currently making disciples and raising up leaders to help fulfill that vision.
But first things first, we are sensing God's call to find our own space. It is our prayer to be in our own building by the fall of 2026.
